okay guys so i needed a new window regulator in my 98 civic and seeing as its not a performance part i figured ebay it.... well once again ebay and cars never works out they sent me a regulator for a 92-95, i dont feel like going through the hassle of shipping back and waiting....

so here is the thing i have a 92-95 window motor laying around but it has 4 wires and my stock one has 2 does anybody know how to wire the two lip onto the 4 wire motor??

the 95 motor wire colors are Red with yellow stripe, red with blue stripe, black, blue

my 98 wires are Red, Yellow

please help thanks

 

You have the motor for the wrong door. For 92-00 Civics, the driver side window motor has 4 wires while the passenger side motor has 2 wires.
