Idea....
I was thinking the other day about swaps and conersions and what not, and this came accross my mind. so I am seeing what people think. Evo VIII\IX motor, trans, and drive train in a 92\93 CB7. Sleeper, if you will. AWD. Turbo. I think it'd be awesome. Ideas?
Hypothetically, it would be "awesome." Git'r done and let us know how it turns out!
Realistically, it's a hole lot of money, time and effort into a 20 year old FWD chassis. You must really like the CB body style in order to want to try this. when you could get a much better sleeper for less.
What sort of ideas are you looking for? it's not something that has been done all that often...if ever! Therefore you are only going to get hypotheticals and/or personal opinions as to why you should or shouldn't do it!

I'm just curious as to what people think of it. I'd confidently say it's never been done before. It would be as one of a kind as CB7 gets. I drive a friend's CB7 regularly, and love it. It's responsive, fun, fits five, and it's pretty much untapped. You just don't see many, legit, CB7s. I have considered K20, too cliche. H22, too common. F20B, maybe. But 4G63 WITH full drive train swap, dope.
Not alone. I will probably be working with a shop that is acustom to doing crazy swaps and lots of custom fab, if I do it. It will be down the road if it happens, my RB26 240z will be first. ;]
