ok...here's my problem...when the car is at idle, it's fine...when i press the clutch still at idle and not in gear...the motor/tranny jerks over and over like the clutch is engaging and disengaging over and over slightly...then, when i try to put it into gear, it won't go in like i'm locked out of every gear unless i slam it into gear...and when i do that, even with the clutch still pressed, i get SLAM! like i just power shifted the hell out of it....then, when i start to let off the clutch in first the car shakes pretty bad...and as i'm shifting gears it stiill acts like i'm locked out and grinds sometimes...what could be the problem? clutch? master/slave cylinder? pressure plate?
i already ordered a new clutch, but i need a second opinion.

new observation/problem...
now, after it's started and i press the clutch and try to put it in gear it refuses to go into any gear...then if i turn the car off and put it into gear it goes in very smoothly...then i try to start it in gear it starts pulling foreward and hesitating to start as if i'm starting it in gear with the clutch only partially pressed...pressure plate problem???
