i got a 94 hatchback CX no power steering and the hub/bearings are bad so i bought a whole used complete knuckle from a 93 civic 4 door DX with power steering.

everything bolted up but the tie rod hole it seems like the hole is bigger from the 4 door knuckle/spindle.

my questions are:
-do i need to use the 4 door outer tie rod end?
or
-could i press out the hub on both knuckle assembly and swap them would it fit?

any info would be appreciated thanks!

 

look up the parts number and see if they se similar

The knuckles are identical. If the hole is larger it's worn (loose tie rod end stud moving around in side the hole might have enlarged it)

 

Yeah ill press out the hub n bearing on both knuckles tommorow hopefully the hub and bearings is interchangeable as well

 

All of it is the same, part number for part number.
