"I think" doesn't cut it. These are important things to know. The stock DX TB has a different rotor than the B16A TB, and while it'll bolt up, it would cause exactly the problem you're having. Same deal with having the wrong throttle cable stay. Same deal with having the wrong throttle cable.
As far as I know, they aren't labeled. It's the kind of thing you should have done right (and thus know) when you did the swap.
How is your cable routed around the TB? Does it go above, or below the throttle plate rotor?

The cable doesn't go over or under
It goes out to the driver side strut tower then goes around the manifold into the firewall....
So instead of being over of under its going around the side of it...
And the adjuster screw is all the way to the end, can't be adjusted no more and the cable is still loose

You should get the throttle cable and throttle cable stay from a 99-00 Civic SI. For TBs, you have a lot of options. Stock, you can use a TB from any D16Y8-equipped car, or from any B series equipped car.
There's no need to "upgrade" your IM.

If you want a bit more power and spend some money do it. Cause a stock port on a B16 mani is only 60 or 62mm (correct me if im wrong someone) so a aftermarket throttle body like a 68mm would be pointless, unless your stock B16 intake manifold is port matched to 68mm which would benefit you more, but in that case you might as well spend a couple more bucks and get an aftermarket intake manifold port it to match whatever size throttle body you decide to pick up. (I recommend not going any bigger than 68mm for an N/A set up.)
Ok... Ima look into that... Any good brands u would recommend? And I can still use the 99-00si TB cable and cable bracket right?
A little more power is always fun
And thanks for the help jbpnoman

You can use the throttle cable with any throttle body. I say if your really trying to budget then stick with another oem or stock one. If your going to upgrade and don't want to spend too much I saw some pherable 68 mm throttle body on ebay for 70 or 80 bucks I think. If not omni make some 68 mm too for well under 100 bucks on ebay. Those two are about the cheapest and they still retain a stock look with the coolant port underneath. Now if your a baller and have all the fundings in the world, then get something like a 68+ mm BBK with the stock coolant passage underneath or a 74mm skunk2 in the black edition which will run you 300 plus D O L L A R S. lol
There is absolutely zero reason to "upgrade" your TB. You will see zero gains from it. That's why I put it in quotations in one of my earlier posts. An upgrade isn't an upgrade if it isn't actually enhancing anything.
Those black ones are like no other amazing different unique. You probably won't get any horsepower gain but you'll notice that the throttle response is better hence feeling like you did gain power. Only way to know is to try it out first hand experience yourself.
