94 civic no crank no start

Default 94 civic no crank no start

I have a 94 civic lx 5 speed.

It's actually got 620,000 miles on the motor. 400,000 after a rebuild with performance pistons and rods. The car has an MSD ignition and I don't know a thing about it.

Personally I think the MSD coil went out and my question is can I just change the distributor cap and uninstall the MSD. Or is the MSD tuned in or something. Or is this not even the reason for no crank no start??

I tried jumping and still nothing. When I try to start the car only pins it makes is the fuel pump coming on. That's literally all I hear from the car

There is a starter switch located high on the clutch pedal. Check whether the rubber stopper that presses on this switch has fallen out:
