You didn't say what year the ecu was out of or what four wire 02 primary or secondary :

96-98 OBD2A

Then the OBD2A pinout is the one you need.

Why are you using an EX ECU on a DX/LX motor? It definitely isn't the ideal match. The biggest differences off the top of my head are the lack of vtec, and the fact that the Y7 uses 190CC(180?) injectors, whereas the Y8 (EX) uses 240CC (230?) injectors.

Use the first diagram posted for OBD2A.
If you want to confirm match the ecu connector and make sure it is:

Any OBD2 ECU looks for both. Identify the sticker and make sure it is a P2E or a P2P.

Also if the P2P is a manual ecu it uses a 2 wire IACV as opposed to the 3 wire on the Y7 auto and manual. Also the P2P looks for a knock sensor as well.

You need to be more clear on your setup. Pics would help but it sounds like Frankenstein's monster of combination of parts.
