Icon2 Is this real...JM F22b SOHC Turbo engine awd

Ive been looking at engines, and I came across this...

http://www.jdmenginescorp.com/engine...anese-imported

I searched everwhere even wikipedia to see if the motor is real or if anyone has installed it and the most I found was that people are turboing the f22. Im just curious on this engine. I know the awd tranny is a dream but my main concern is if the engine is real and i'd like more info on its compatibility with it being in the F family and put into an accord.

Yeah, definitely not like that from factory haha. Whether or not it is JDM, it probably is, (although I sometimes think that website is lying and is not credible, considering they claim to have a JDM F23, which doesn't exist, and who knows what else they're lying about). It's an F series so it will swap right in to another F series accord with no modification to motor mounting points or anything.

Please just stop it....All jdm engines end with a letter (b16a b18c h22a k20a f22b) they will not end with a number like usdm and edm motors.
Why would you say the f23a does not exist when it clearly does...

What's your definition of "JDM"? Because they were never in any vehicle in Japan. An other countries have engines that only end in a letter, but they aren't necessarily cars from Japan.

My definition is the same as the real one...Japanese Domestic Market.
I know it never came in a vehicle...it doesnt exist, right? *hint*
That is just not true, please show me and provide a link that states, anywhere in the world, besides japan, has a honda motor that the engine code ends with a letter.

Off the top of my head the F20A is for Japan and Europe. Granted it is in Japan but it also in Europe.

If an engine, such as the F23A, was never destined for the Japanese market, I believe you would really be stretching to call it a "Japan Domestic Market" engine.

F23A, was never in any vehicle for the Japanese market.
F20C, in the S2000. Ends with a letter, not necessarily Japanese market.
F20A, in accords for Japan and Europe, not necessarily Japanese market.
D17A, civics for Japan and Canada
B20B/Z, crv's in Japan and the US
B20A, preludes Japan and Europe.

Source, Wikipedia. Look at their sources because they are extensive.

My point, just because it ends with only a letter, does not mean it is Japanese Domestic Market.

The definition of JDM is vehicles or parts SOLD in Japan. As in available in their market. The F23A was never sold there, its not JDM.

AWD transmission is not original to that engine. AWD trans was from a Blue Top H23A 98-01 Station Wagon Sir-T

So far I have seen no reason to believe an F23A is true JDM. Maybe you can provide a link that says that the F23A was sold in the Japanese market. Or something that states that any engine ending with a letter is automatically JDM. At this point I have no reason to believe that that is entirely true.
