I'm installing my new coil overs I got on my 91 Honda Accord do I need spring compressors.

 

yes if you are removing a spring

 

depends on the coilover really, do the new coilovers have top hats? If they do then No you dont need to dissassemble the stock spring and coil.

 

Highly dangerous! Yes, highly recommend. Had a homie who was dumb enough to disassemble springs from an assembly, and the spring popped out and popped him in the face. Luckily for him, he had goggles, otherwise he wouldve lost his eye. Don't mean to "poke" fun at him, but he still ended up looking he got his *** beat in an MMA fight. Wish I had that pic still...
