Default D16A6 Jackson Racing Supercharger, Intercooled

I have this Jackson Racing Supercharger for sale $1,750.00

It has a built in intercooler, and comes with it's own stand alone cooling system which uses a custom water tank, front mount heat exchanger, Bosch water pump, and all required hoses, relay, and wiring. Also has a custom fule rail and RDX 410cc injectors, and a custom S-pipe. What you see pictured below is the actual supercharger I am selling. The fuel pressure gauge and fuel pressure regulator pictured are not included. The coating on the rotors is slightly worn but the supercharger still performs well. Although not necessary if you want to rebuild this kit and/or recoat the rotors, there are companies that specialize in rebuilds and offer recoating services for not too much money. Check out "The High Speed Lab", I believe they will do a total rebuild for about $700, and recoat the rotors for another couple hundred dollars. If building a high powered race motor I'd reccomend a rebuild, but if just for a hot street car, this kit should give many more reliable miles of use.

The Jackson kits for the 88-91 Civics sold for roughly $2,200.00 but have been discontinued for years making this a kind of rare find. Companies that perform the intercooler modification usually charge about $800.00 That being said I think $1,750.00 is a very fair deal. I am open to offer though

Jackson Racing claimed 146whp on a stock D16a6 w/ intake, headers, and exhaust. This kit with the cooler charge air, bigger injectors and some good ecu tuning should easily put you over 150hp, swap to a smaller pulley for more boost or combine with higher compression and you could easily acheive 200+hp. You will need to perform a little wiring for the RDX injectors to work, or you can use your own fuel rail and injectors. I am sure there are plenty of write ups on RDX injectors.

Below pictures of the set up being sold...

This is a picture of the core being fabbed up on top of the blower, a custom housing was made using high grade alluminum alloy...

Fuel rail is a OEM rail modified to accept the RDX injectors and still fit on the manifold with the core built on top...

The air filter is not included

Custom S Tube...

Custom Water Tank...
Front mounted heat exchanger...

And here's a video of the car running the supercharger...

Ok just to clear things up with everyone...
This is the bottom of the manifold, the baffle on the inside directs the air from the blower up through the intercooler core and then into the intake manifolds runners. This cools the ambient air temperature substantially. I hope this sheds some light on how this thing works. I apologize for any confusion.

^ Looking at this pic, the whole compressed intake air have to flow through the intercooled element which means the engine get all the nice and cooled intake air. However, wouldn't the air pressure drop a whole bit because the whole compressed intake air have to travel through the intercooled element?

Correct, the pressure does drop a little with the cooler charge air, however, more hp is still realized even with the drop in boost. The boost drop is small though, LHT recorded 4.5-5 pounds of boost with the cooler air as opposed to 5.5 pounds that the stock JRSC kits make. So in theory, you make more power with cool air and less boost, so if you switch to a smaller pulley, you bump your boost and still have cooler air, and you make even more power

What were your IATs with this set-up? Do you have before and after IATs info?

The builder of this kit recorded IAT's within +15 degrees of outside temperature at idle with two 6" SPAL fans blowing into the heat exchanger, when cruising he recorded IAT's within +5 degrees of outside temp.
