i recently got a hb myself and i started too look at some stuff for my car.....it appeared that some short shifters and intakes *generic brands* on ebay were quite cheap. but is there a catch to this? are they like so sh!tty that its useless or would they pass as a cheap mod? and does the urathane bushing on the bottom of the shifter make a big difference?

not always true........i bought an short ram intake from a no name company off of e-bay for $40..... i've never had any problems with it........it sounds really good, nice and deep

 

 

you always get what you pay for. some parts off no namer brands are better than others.. but why go cheap, when you are going to end up upgrading later?, and waste even more money..

 

because if i get an intake ima have to eventuall change it along w/ an engine swap.....as for the short shifter...does it really matter if u get a name brand or not? i mean its not its gonna snap in two or ne thing i doubt im that buff..........or am i wrong?

 

I bought 2 strut bars off there and am waiting to get them. It was like $50 shipped for both of them, so I was like "what the hell" and got them.

 

right i don't know what the hell happened....i have a 94 coupe when i first got it one of my first bolt-ons was a short throw shifter from autozone....i worked there and payed a good price for it....one day leaving work a dsm was going down the road....as retarded as i am i went after him what can i say he revd on me....as i hit second the damn shifter snaped in two peices which pissed me off....i guess you do get what you pay for

 

whoa so they do break? how long did you have yours for b4 it broke?
