recently i noticed that my vtec engages,drops and kicks back in right away.

not every time i only heard it 3 times

the oil pressure is always at 70-80 doesnt fluctuate much
oil is halfway between marks
ive used 0w30 since it was first started

 

Have you taken it off to see if there is any shavings/gunk in there? What RPM's does it fluctuate, and is it consistent?

 

it kicks on momentarily then back off and on and it stays on till redline.

not every time tho

 

Test the vtec solenoid or pressure switch? could be taking a dump...
Is it the motor in your sig?

yep it was all cleaned up when bult there wasne even metal shavings on the magnetic stick. but never know one migt have slipped by.

 

make sure oil pan is not dented in to where the oil pickup can not pick up enough oil.
