Can you use a B18 block with a B16 head?

Can you use a B18 block with a B16 head?
As topic states. Wondering if there is a good way of increasing displacement outside of stroker kits and engine swaps. Would my B16 head and everything bolt up to a B18 block? Sorry for the newb question but I always wondered about this. Thanks.
