So the Corps is sending me to Jacksonville NC and I was wondering if you guys have smog laws/ swap laws how the cops are ect ect. I almost sold my hatch when i got orders to Cali. I know it's a dumb question being you sothern boys get away with murder but I don't want any last minute suprises (like smog every two years in CALi-fail-na).

Long as it passes safety and emissions (if it applies) then you have nothing to worry about. If it doesn't you can sometimes find a shade tree shop that you can pay a little extra and they will pass it.

Don't know how the car scene is down there but at least you are close to the beach.
