Cruise control doesn't work anymore
I got the timing belt package done a week ago, I tried to use my CC last night and the both of the lights would turn on but the CC would not engage. I called the dealership and the guy said that there is no way that their work would have caused it to fail since the belt is on the left side of the car and the CC is on the right side. Can anyone confirm or deny this.... hopefully with diagrams. I don't think my service writer knows what he is talking about OR just want more money from me.

They are right, the cruise control auctuator is on the passenger(right) side and the timing belt is on the left(drivers) side

My cruise control was working and since we replaced the brake switch stop plug, the CC no longer works. Is something else connected that we might have disconnected?

I'll check it out. Lately its been too cold to fool around with it but with some time off this weekend and temps being a little bit warmer, I can take a look.

Unless the 93 cc actuator moved to the passenger side from the 90-92's, it should still be on the driver side. There is a connector that needs to be plugged in, I'm guessing it's either not plugged in, not plugged in all the way(meaning it didn't click completely into place)or they didn't plug in the vacuum hose, which should cause a vacuum leak. This assumes that your cc was working BEFORE they did the timing belt change.

Did you guys happen to find anything that fixed this issue?
I'm running into the same thing. I have a 2002 Accord V6 Ex, cruise control button is on. When going approximately 65mph I hit the SET button, the dash light came on indicating recognizing engagement but it doesn't hold the speed. The CANCEL button removes the dash light indicator.
I tried an experiment - while going about 65mph, hit SET (no engagement), hit ACCEL a few times (still nothing), let off the gas while watching speedometer drop about 5mph - the car downshifted on its own a gear up to 3k+ rpm but still didn't hold speed. I did this twice and was able to reproduce it.
I check the Cruise control cable around the actuator - all cables looked tight.
How do you adjust the brake switch?
