B20 crank pulley w/ integra PS +AC?
Hey guys, im using the b20 crank pulley in my b20 swap with the integra ps mount and integra AC components and im wondering if anyone else has done this on their b20 swap, and if so what size belts did you use? i got CRV belts but they are too small even at the lowest tension. Any insight would be helpful.
Hey man did you ever figure this out I’m literally in the same boat. I don’t want to swap over the ls crank unless on have too. Did you ever figure out what belts you need!
but do the lines on the b18 crank pulley match up to the same as the b20. When I change the crank pulley won’t that effect the timing? Would I just make the motor tdc and then match the lines on the b18 crank to where they were when I removed the crank off the b20.
i would stick with the b20 pulley because it is sized for the motor and ideal for the engine dampening, if it is a jdm b20 pulley then just use a slightly bigger belt then 97-01 crv calls for because the jdm pulley is slightly larger, if it is usdm just use 97-01 crv belt sizes. either way crv belt will probably work for both pulleys
If the CR-V belts will work though that's probably the best option.

Just get longer belts. Learn how to read them and then go to the store and get the right one. I used a d16y8 power steering belt for my alternator on my B20 swap. It's really simple to find the correct length, look at the type of belt, measure the width and count the ribs. Has none of that occurred to you?

Measuring for the belt you need isn't winging it. It's doing what you need to get the right size belt instead of waiting around for someone else to come give you the answer.
*Most people* just swap over the B18 crank pulley when they do B20 swaps. The part numbers for the B20 crankshaft and connecting rods are exactly the same as the part numbers for the B18 crankshaft and connecting rods, the differences in the rotating assembly are only in the marginally larger pistons.
There's also the small "issue" of the accessories being overdriven with the B20 pulley.
At the end of the day, it doesn't really matter which one you use.

buying a couple different belts isn’t winging it? I guess an educated guess is the proper term. Forums are made for the simple reason of getting answers to questions you don’t know bud. No ones putting a gun to your head and making you reply. Thanks for your help!
