Default knuckle re-assembly question

Hi, in the process of replacing a wheel bearing, I took off the knuckle from the arm attaching it to the frame. Now that I'm back to re-attaching it, I have found that there's nothing to secure the top of the bolt to and that when i try to screw the nut on from the bottom, the whole thing just rotates instead of the nut screwing on while the bolt is stationary. There's a boot between the knuckle arm and the mount that goes to the frame. I can't get a needle nose or a vice grip in there enough to hold it steady. How can i reattach this? 93 integra ls

is there a hole in the bolt for a cotter pin? try wiggling it and getting the bushing to lean on the bolt while you are tightening the nut

Tap the castle nut to clean up the threads.

When you re-install the knuckle and are ready to tighten the upper castle nut, jack up the LCA to clamp the ball joint until you can tighten the nut to spec.
