D16 BSFC Charts?
Hi all, first post.
I recently bought a Civic with a D16Y7 as a daily/fun car/hypermiler. I have been searching around but haven't found a brake specific fuel consumption chart. BSFC charts help you accelerate most efficiently and in conjunction with coasting and other techniques can give you much better fuel economy than the EPA suggests.
Here is an example of a BSFC chart:

Does anyone know where to find one for my engine?
Thanks!

You want MPGs?
Great, start by removing every bit of weight on the car that you don't use. Extra seats, belts, bumper supports, lose some weight yourself unless you are a 98 lb girl, in which case stay that way, nobody likes a fatty.
Keep OEM airbox, header, exhaust. Do preventative maintenance, keep tires inflated properly if not a bit higher than normal. Change wheels for lighter weight ones, lower the car, it helps reduce undercarriage drag. Some kind of front lip helps. Keep the car clean to reduce drag, create some kind of shield for the header and intake. Hotter temps, lower fuel consumption=higher mpgs.

That said, I'm not stripping the interior out of my Civic. I recently picked up some HX wheels, the PO installed a warm air intake, and I put in 5W-30 oil. The tires are up to 50psi last I checked. I removed the side mirrors and am building a semi-permanent grille block for aero and warm-up. Wheel covers in progress. Later on, LRR tires, rear wheel skirts, fiberglass kammback, air dam, rear belly pan.
I've got some suspension refreshment to do and plan to throw in some cheap coilovers since the Ebay spring sleeves I bought didn't fit over the dampers. It should still be pretty peppy and a fun hypermiler and weekend racer!

Oh yeah, and MPGuino and an injector kill switch. It's still running the stock '92 ECU with OBD0 (It's an EH2)
But if you guys wanted to read about hypermiling you could just go on Ecomodder, so I'll shut up!
im on there lol. 38.5 mpg b18cr 92 hatch. Funny cuz i was driving it very hard but coasting in nuetral on hills ect.
I could never personaly change the body to look like a canoe just to save fuel lol.
