Default What size ridge reamer is needed to get pistons out of a d15b7?

ive got a 92 civic cx with a b7 out.of a 94 dx im just wondering if anyone knows what size ridge reamer is needed to.get the pistons out? its all stock as well thanks

You shouldn't need one to remove the piston. If you really really REALLY need one to remove a piston I'd imagine that block is warped far beyond the point of no return.

The piton is ~2.95 inches or 75mm so select your reamer on that.

24TEN - running a reamer around the top of a cylinder to remove carbon deposits is a common procedure in engine tear down. It doesn't mean a cylinder is warped.

If that's true then I learned something new. I've done 5-6 engines and never had to use that tool ever.

It was really common on the v-8's of year long gone. With quality fuel and periodic de-carbing I could see the pistons coming straight out. Of course you could also take the piston out the bottom.
