Replacing the belt for 1990 Civic Lx
Ive done a search but cant find any write up on how to do this. Im aware that I have to remove a motor mount but other than that is there any other steps?
This is the belt that runs to the alternator, sorry forgot to mention.
This is what it looks like now, heard it last night so evidently Im changing it ASAP.

This is probably a better picture.

Any help is appreciated, thanks.

I think you need to do steps 1-4 in the diagram below. However, by the looks of it, the alternator pulley may have seized, so the alternator also may need to be replaced.
Ok well I got the alternator loose BUT I cant take the belt off because its right behind another belt preventing it from sliding out.
Do I really need to remove the motor mount and harmonic balancer? Or is there another way?

Thanks guys, I dont have AC but I loosened up the PS steering unit and it slid right off! Then changed the alt belt, installed the PS belt back on and done!
