Default New project car

My first car was a 94 Civic VX hatchback and I really missed it so I decided to pick up this DX hatch for a commuter/project car. I got tired of paying for expensive tires and premium gas (other car is a MazdaSpeed3). So I'm getting back into the Honda scene

The ride was really bouncy, so I decided to upgrade the suspension a bit:

Old eBay special... No wonder it was so bouncy! I'm glad I'm alive still...

The ride is muuuch better now! I can actually drive the car without getting a workout. Next is body work

Thanks! Can't promise any rapid updates, but I'll definitely post updates to this thread.

I hate blown shocks, they're super soft until you hit a pot hole and then kadunk!

As someone else using F/F T1s, the ride isn't horrible, but there are better options for the same general price range.

Well, before you start buying parts go do your general maintenance around the car. New oil, clean up the exterior/interior/engine bay. The cheap **** that helps lol

It's been a while since I updated this. I haven't had the car for a while since I loaned it to my brother. I just got it back and paid some attention to her. Since the first post, I used some Plastidip to temporarily paint it, new fenders, new bumpers, new stereo, stripped the interior in prep for new seats/carpet, took it to the mechanic for A LOT of suspension work that you can't really see, new wheels/tires (205/50/R15), duckbill spoiler, installed JDM sidemarkers and temporary eBay special headlights and corner lights.

This thing was a POS, and still is in many ways. But it's a lot better than it was! My ultimate plan is to drop a B18C1 into it, paint it, and track the car. But that will probably take a while...
