Install new dizzy and now no injector pulse
1995 Civic with B16 DOHC vtec OBD1 all stock except cold air intake.
lost spark on my B16 so i replaced the distributor, but after the new dizzy was installed i lost injector pulse. With the old distributor the injectors fire but i have no spark, and with the new dizzy i get spark but no injector pulse.
Any ideas what it could be?

yea as far as i can tell, its a richporter distributor which i already had them replace thinking it could be a defective distributor, is there something else it could be?

Yea dude, it does sounds like some sort of clusterfuck. What about everything else? Have you checked if you are getting fuel to the injectors? I would try to get my hands on the pinout for the distributor to see if it's the correct model for the application. Can you confirm that the injectors are receiving no voltage?......with numbers or definitive lack thereof?

With the old TEC distributor the fuel injectors seem to work fine but i have no spark, and with the new distributor I get spark but injectors are not firing, would this indicate a problem with the new distributor? or a wiring issue?

With the new distributor i have spark but injectors dont fire.
I think the fact that the injectors work with the old distributor would rule out any wiring issues. Does the timing sensors in the distributor have anything to do with the injectors working? If so, is there a way to test them?

Okay so the engine had no spark first, you installed a new aftermarket distributor, at that point the engine has spark but now the injectors don't spray and you replaced the new distributor with a second new one and still no fuel spray. All this correct?
How did you determine you didn't have spark and now you do? How did you determine you had fuel spray but now dont? Did you remove the fuel rail with the injectors from the intake manifold and see them spray/not?
Out of curiosity did you install the engine in the car or was it already there? What ecu are you using at the moment?
