performance parts
Hi everyone I got a 94 prelude si and I'm about to do h22 swap this month and need to know what mods would be great to use to have good power gains and will post pictures of my swap soon
Just picking and choosing parts from different build on the net is not going to help you build your motor properly.
You need to set a goal first, not just any goal but a real sensible goal.
What will you be using your car for? Road course track, Drag Race track, a Daily street performance, etc...
YOu need to know what powerband you will wanting to build your motor for.
There is much you need to do before asking what parts to throw at your build. This way you only purchase what you need and not waste money. And you really need to know your car by driving it first on tracks to know what she is capable of and get learn how to drive your car.
Do this first and then ask your questions again, because by that point, you will be more educated on your car and what you want.
Start with I/H/E and a chipped ECU... come on Guys we were all beginners
at some point. Buy a helms manual for your prelude from a parts store like
Autozone and read it front to back repeatedly. Read up on how a engine
Works and how air and fuel have a big factor in them and how to get more in
and out of them faster. But do buy a helms manual and start reading if you
Are serious about cars and engines. The only way to learn without messing
Something up is to read and research what you are working on. Not understanding
Something and setting out to work on it will only leave you with two broke's... your
Wallet and your ride. G/L and may the Honda gods be with you.
