Icon6 97 accord Ex, h22a obd1, How to check CeL codes, 4WS ECU

Ok I have an H22a swap on an 97accord ex, 5Sp, I have a cEL ligth, first im not sure if that Cel is cause im using a 4WS ecu, my car kinda idles when pressing gas, before Vtec kicks in, it feels like if i was going on 4th gear at 20mph, but im actually going in the correct gear, when I press the gas it kinda stay in the same Rpm then goes up, BUT when vtec kicks in its a beast, it pulls Hard. heres what I have done to the car:

New spark plugs NGK, New oil Royal Purple 5w-30.

Vtec pressurs switch wire, Black wire into Groun, the blue one in to pin D6.

Knock sensor single wire to pin D3

IAB solenoid, to A17, and to the Distriburor Black and yellow, IS THIS THE CORECT WAY?

I used my same old O2 sensor, prelude map sensor and a new tps. WORKING CONDITIOBS

Before you tell me to check my CeLs, im letting you know I have NO idea How to, they just told me to do it with a paper clip, but where lol, Can anyone Help or knows a treath of how to chek my CeLs

Well, you should search.

The connector that hangs behind the glovebox is what you will jump with a paperclip. I don't know why you would use a 4WS ECU......if you went to OBDI (sounds like you did) the JDM P13 or like a chipped P28 would have been a wiser choice.

the code 36 that the 4ws ecu causes does not show as a check engine light on the dash. it WILL show when you check the codes, but it wont be the cause of the light staying on.
checking the flashes is the same on obd1 as obd2.
assuming you are using a jumper harness you should just look a t the instructions for which 2 wires need to be connected.
