so i was gonna trade my car this week and take a 2 hour drive and was inspecting the car
and noticed the boot was ripped on the driver side axle

how soon do you guys think it needs to be replaced or is it already done

i dont hear any clicking or anything right now when i drive it

If it's not clicking it's still ok replace the boot. Axles are cheap, you can drive it like it si
but the grease will wash out and it will start clicking.

 

looks likr there's no grease in it. $57 for a new one or go to the junkyard and get one
