having issues with this (it starts, revs to 1500, then dies right away)

ee wagon with a d15 b7

walbro 255
cleaned injectors
new fuel filter
ngk-r plugs
new icm
main relay all re soldered
jumper harness for dizzy

looking for any other reasons why its doing this?

Have you checked the fuel pump relay or the crankshaft position sensor? It sounds like the car catches then it just blanks out and doesn't know what to do.

to follow up on this the dizzy was the problem i was trying to use a obd1 b7 dizzy on a obd0 car so i put the a6 dizzy on and started no problem
