Well the day after new years day I'm at work and the guys call me out side . To find out this ahole wrecked my delsol she wasn't fancy but she was my baby. Was going for the stock look . Had bought a parts car to fix the bads on my car. Any way he ran into my car pushed it into the fence messing my lower support mount hood . When I got out there no one was there . So my company was helping me out because I have my first kid on the way and a fiance . so they letting me drive a company vehicle around ford Taurus. Yea buddy. Well any way they had property damage so they are going to give me blue book on my car not much but it will help . I plan on buying back my sol from insurance and taking out my b18c motor and doing a build on it. So here goes a build thread . I have a choice build it for the sol or 90 hatch I have. I'm looking for advice on what parts to get and so on. It will take me some time to build this so bear with me on this. I don't have a cp so ill have my friend post them tomorrow

 

That's tough, sorry about your sol man. I look foward to seeing what you choose to do with the motor, I personally prefer del sols to ef hatches

 

Oh yea 500+ hp is my goal. Gt35 twin scroll turbo is my base I'm building off of.

Like I said I buying my sol back from insurance but don't know if I can afford the body work. I have no title on my parts sol. But has a good rear end. Idk what ima do but I do know ima build my motor tho .

I was talking to my brother that taught me how to work on jet skis and triple cylinder 2 strokes .he told me that he is great at body work . New to me so once i pull the motor out im going to bring it to his place as wellas the parts del sol i have ill just have to get bumpers hood and tail lights if i want factory.

My company is giving me 1200 for my car getting wrecked. But i have to get my truck a motor and put a lil into my hatch. So with all being said this will be a delsol build .

 

You need a whole rear? I could cut the back off for ya and you.can come get it its not wrecked pm me if your interested

 

Nm i forgot u had one. Just cut the back off the parts sol and weld it on yours. Shouldnt be hard and thats what people do to newer cars when they get totalled

 

I'm just going to pull the rear quarter panels off and retack them back on .

Ok well its been raining over here everyday since New years so I haven't been able to work on the car at all but will post pics when I start to pull motor out.

 

Before I started pulling the motor out.

All wires and hoses disconnected just have cv shafts and motor mounts then the motor out and the car off for body work . I'll be taking pics of that as well .
