Default 93' Del Sol - seems to want to stall

So i have a 93' Del Sol with a SOHC D15B8 in it and when i am driving in it it seems to want to stall when in 1st and the beginning of second after that it is fine any ideas of what it might be i had my mechanic take a look at it and drive it he said it wasing doing this when he drove it so is it just my shitty luck or am i just fckd up and not driving it right?? I tend to shift around 2500rpms sometimes 3000rpms if this aint enough info let me know what else you need and ill do my best....

Your shifting entirely too soon. It's line you riding a mountain bike. If you barely start moving and shift gears, it's a bitch right? Same thing when driving a car. Try shifting around 4,000 and get back to me. That should solve your problem

I shift at 3000rpm but my car dont start to move unless the rpm is at least 2k

but not lately now that its not self limiting at 5500 lol

you don't need to shift at 4k...that is ridiculous.

Just shift like you said you were. Maybe you are letting off the clutch too quickly...try releasing the clutch slower.

You're shifting right, its not the problem. Did you check your fluids such as clutch fluid? Hows your clutch, when you press it down does it come up real smooth? And correct me if im wrong but is it a hydraulic clutch?

But what this sounds like you have bogging in slow rps it could possible be your map sensor.

Look into that

I don't want to be rude but do you have a check engine light on?

Okay let's see 4K seems too high to shift from first to second no engine lights not on and it is bogging in low RPM's fluids are good and clutch releases smothly don't wanna sound like a dumb *** but clutch type how do I figure that out? And as far as map sensor goes how would I go about figuring if that is bad/going bad??
