I just finished replacing my engine/body/dash harness. The car runs fine but when I put my turn signals on the tac jumps everywere, and when I hit my brights the tach goes to zero and stays there. Checked all the grounds I could find and nothing was loose/corroded. Not sure if it's connected but my apline head unit wont work either. Any ideas?

 

Temp gauge isn't working either.

 

When mine did that i pulled the cluster and tightened the power and ground one the back of it

When mine did this the battery cable ground was loose

 

Yea i checked all my grounds, couldnt find anything wrong. I'll sand all of them down and see if that works.

 

I didn't even see a power and ground cable on my cluster lol.... All i have it the 3 harness plugs in it.

 

I have 2 grounds under the dash via the harness, ground from trans to body,motor to body. my batt is relocated and grounded to the spare tire bolt.

 

Was a bad alternator, threw a new one on this morning and everything works fine!
