My friend is thinking about turboin'g his 93' BMW 325. It comes with an inline 6, I think 193 hp stock. Hes thinking about using a volvo t3 turbo or something.

Anyone ever turbo one? HP Gains with 6-7 psi? And how strong is the bottom end?

 

i have a friend here in town with a 97 M3. 6 speed tranny and boosted (don't know the specs). Bottom end is built and all necessary head work has been done. At 8-10psi he is running approx. 400hp and 350lbs/torque! This is a guesstamation from Dinan. This car is SWEET!

Try and get in contact with Active Autowerkes in Miami.
Their kits are top notch.

 

Yeah, the active autowerks kits are pretty sweet, but expect to pay some $ for them. I think they run around $8k..

I believe that http://www.atpturbo.com was in the process of making a bmw 3 series kit. When i was in there a few months ago they were test fitting it on a new 3 series. Give them a call at 1-510-445-1682 and ask for George.

 

there was a 318 that had a m3 motor turbo'd that was in gainesville last week, it was sick. they said it won "one lap of america" .
