I'm new to the site and Honda. I have an ap1 and looking to increase low and mid range torque. When I purchased the car about a year ago I ordered a turbo kit (I come from the muscle car world big hp, big torque) it's been sitting in my garage since then. The car has been tracked about 10 times this year, I love the motor minus the low torque. My questions are: can I increase hp and torque with cams and tune ( all I read tells me no)? build ideas for 70-100 hp increase (n/a)? if I install turbo does bottom end need upgrading for 10-12 psi boost? I'm leaning towards motor build on this great engine and selling the turbo. Any input will be helpful. Thanks

Check the engine forums.
There aren't a lot of Turbo'd AP1's running in sanctioned events (rules) unless its T/A even then there aren't many.
