Well I'm a newb to Neptune RTP, but after a short time I was able to get my idle dialed in pretty well. I have a fully built GSR that's turbo charged and I just recently installed new valve train and Skunk2 Pro1's and didn't really have any problems getting my 1000cc injectors to idle half way decent. I've started doing some data logging and I've tuned all of my idle and part throttle drive ability stuff. I would have continued on to the high cam portion but my distributor had another idea and decided to throw a code 9 (cylinder position sensor). So when my new distributor arrives I will pick back up where I started. Enjoy the crappy video!!

Yep thanks for the great deal! Was told by a lot of people that Neptune was difficult, but I think it's just from the lack of knowledge of the program. While I was waiting on mine to come in the mail I played around with it for a couple of days. Once I was comfortable navigating the program and researched the hrtuning forum it all came together. I'm still trying to learn how much I have to adjust the table to get the desired outcome, but it's ok though because adjusting in small increments is probably safer.
the help files located within the software are incredible. The how-to tutorials are just icing on the cake.
The software is no more difficult than hondata (personally i think its more organized and less cluttered than s300) but people can only express their opinions based on what they have used. Problem is a lot of opinions dont come from actual experience.
I'm glad you are enjoying Neptune. Its an amazing piece. If you have any questions, please ask.
Merry Christmas.

x2 if you were hearing that Neptune was hard to use. It was more than likely from people who have never used it or have no idea how basic software works.

Well even though I've only been able to tune the low cam side I would give it a big thumbs up. The last time that I tuned anything was when Hondata's S100 was out...been a long time. Because of the long gap in tuning I've had to relearn everything and so far so good. Everything is laid out systematically, making it easy to navigate and not skip anything. If I was you I would do what I did. When I was considering this EMS, I downloaded both Hondata's software and Neptune's. I spent an equal amount of time messing with both systems and Neptune came out on top and I'll tell you why. First off and is always typically the bottom line is the price, Neptune is cheaper. Customer support seemed about the same on various forums. Comparing apples to apples between the two systems were about the same with Neptune coming out on top for me, because the one or two additional things that Hondata offered didn't apply to my setup or what I was wanting to do. Lastly I really liked how Neptune's setup is kind of turn key, if you watch the videos that are on the hrtuning.com website and follow them to the T, you will have a basemap in your computer and Neptune running your car in like 15 minutes and that's not an exaggeration!! Download the software for whomever your considering and play around with them, if you plan on tuning your car yourself this is an important step. Sorry about the run on sentences and rant, but I felt it was important lol.

I'm going to have to take my hat off to Neptune, I'm very pleased with it's consistency and ease of use. I haven't tuned anything in over years and was able to get everything dialed in pretty well. I would recommend to anyone that has never tuned before to do as much research as you can through hrtuning.com forum and Honda-tech. I'm just estatic at the outcome and would recommend Neptune to anyone!! I am however going to get back on the dyno in a couple of weeks after my pwm components arrive in the mail.

I've been actually looking into the M&W Pro 10 ignition system to replace the honda ignition. Will be later down the road though. One question about the M&W; if I went to the pro 10 setup will I have to re-tune my car?
