I have a 96 integra, with a Viper 350 Responder installed, I want the horn to honk in a pusle with the alarm, but this alarm doesn't have a horn honk output wire.. anyway I can wire up a relay to honk it in a pulse? I need wiring diagram for this feature

You could use the parking lights to trigger a relay.

 

Makr sure you diode isolate it cause if you turn on the parking lights the horn will sound solid.

 

ouch that would suck... hmmm where can I get one of those and do I hook it up to the wire coming off the flasher wire?

 

Radio shack. Simple 10 amp will be fine.

#87 of relay to horn trigger lead, [gray or blue/green @ steering wheel harness].
Alarms park light output to #85 of relay, [and to park lights].
H1/12 orange [GWA] of alarm to #86 of the relay, horn will only honk if alarm is armed. 94

 

I use the black white wire dome light output on the alarm to the #85 and the brown siren output wire onto #86 instead of the orange wire so u don't have to use diodes

 

can't use that wire... I think all it does is turn on the dome light for 30seconds once armed/disarmed ..people would hate me lol

 

No diode is needed if the orange lead is used, the orange lead is a ground only when alarm is armed GWA= ground when armed. 94

On the 350 it has a relay for the starter kill, if thats being used then u gonna need diode, I never hook up the dome light output bc my truck dome comes on whenever it's unlocked so I use that

I have a Responder 350 in a 2K Civic.

It *does* have a horn-honk output -- See the manual. You can configure the siren output through programming as a (-) output to connect to your horn instead of a siren. This is how I use the R350 -- I don't have siren installed, at all.

You want the horn to operate *w/your siren*. Disregard what I said.

 

I wouldn't mind just having the horn, how did you program it. there is no programming steps
