f22 stroker?
if my thought are correct, a BC h22 stroker crank (bc5039) 55mm main and 100mm stroke in a F block line bored to 55mm with a longer rod should produce a longer stroke over stock, my question is should i flush this thought down the toilet or is it possible to pull this off after you clerance the block so everything rotates free? would i have to get some custom pistons made with lower wrist pens to keep the pistons in the cylinder and out of the head? thanks all
you would need shorter rods to work with a longer stroke crank. The F23A1 bottom end uses 55mm mains, 97mm stroke and an 86mm bore. it's already a half step in the direction of what you're talking about doing. any F-series or H-series head (F20C excluded) will bolt on. just a thought..
the rotation on the two are different an s2k comes with an f20 and an f22 but like i said its a reverse rotation from the other f-series, in which it would not work, why did they do this? I wish they hadn't, it would be awesome to use that.
There are stroker kits available for the F22...cost you $2500 + machine work & labour. I've looked into it, not worth it in a daily driver IMO. This is why I kept my 95mm stroke and went with longer rods, a shorter piston CH and 89mm bore.... 2.4L displacement without requiring a longer stroke. Equals out to a better rod to stroke ratio, if that means anything.

ok so to get a 89mm bore ( which the stock sleeves cant handle) i would have to get a set of darton sleeves? correct me if im wrong please, would i have to use the same floating wrist pin style piston too?
Yes you will need sleeves, may be able to get away with using a set of dry sleeves. They are a bit cheaper to run. You would have to contact the piston manufacturer of your choice as to whether or not they can make you a set for press fit. I'm pretty sure Wiseco will make them ether way for you.
