95 dx won't start when warm - CEL code 6
so I have a 95 hatch with d15b7 previously had a d15b8. so resently it became more difficult to start when it was warm now if i drive two blocks it won't start for about 10 mins. It cranks but won"t start . I have pulled off the fuel line and it is getting fuel. Replaced the main relay and still having the same problem. I have seen many people on here with the same issue but no one has actually posted a resolution. any ideas?
Its probably that sensor. I have a '95 D15B7. I had a broken wire (insulation intact) on the ECT under the distributor causing intermittent temp sensor CEL and had the same problem, so much so that I'd leave the car running when refueling. It happened more on hot days probably the heat increased the resistance of the open wire. Fixed the wire and it's been perfect since.
I suspect the car floods in this situation because full throttle cranking sometimes allowed it to start.
