I got a 96 integra with b20b in it and ive been having problems with the driver side axle, I replaced it because it was making my car vibrate,everything was fine then a couple weeks later back to the same problem vibrating at high speeds and when braking I checked the axle and it had play, so I went and got another one since it was under warranty and installed it and a month later it starts with the same problem and the axle is lose again..does anyone have any ideas of whats going on

 

Where are you getting your axles? I would recommend avoiding autozone oreilys etc parts store like those. I know people that have constant problems with them I bought both of mine from Honda parts unlimited and no problems yet but for my 36mm 5lug this winter I'll be going to drive shaft shop.

 

I got it from oreyles but I already went thru 3 of.them I heard something Bout.the c.clip on it.do u have any idea of what thats about?

 

Just don't buy from Advance Auto. I've been through 7 axles in less than a year. They're horrible! I even had three in a row that were bad right out of the box. I've been dealing with vibrations, pull, clicks and leaks for long enough I just said screw the warranty! and bought new ones from Rock Auto. We'll see how those do.

 

try getting tires and alignment before buying more axles?

resurface rotors, or new brake pads>?


when im breaking or going high speeds and it vibrates its usually breaks or my tires need changing and usually fixes it for me

 

So you drive it for a month after the axle replacement and it's fine then starts to vibrate at high speeds and during braking?

How did you determine which axle was causing your problem?

How's the oil in your tranny? Maybe it's your differential that's causing these vibrations.
