I just have a burning question that I can't find the answer for. Are the side moulds for 6th gen Civic hatches (EK1/EK4/EK9) all the same? Are they different in any way or are they all universal and interchangeable? Do they differ in different markets (ie. US, EU, AU, JP?)

JDM moldings are thinner that the US ones, As for interchangable, as long as its the same body style from 96-00, they will all work.

 

Sorry I'm not from the US, but could you show me an example of the difference? In particular USDM mouldings? Cheers

So after a little research, it seems like Australian models have the same thin mouldings. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction Fliptard

 

European models also have the thin moldings.

 

here in OZ Australia there all thin
we never got the thick moulding at all

 

Hatch and coupe models use the same moldings; moldings for sedans are different and will not work on hatches/coupes.

USDM moldings are bigger than the JDM moldings which are more commonly referred to as thin moldings.
