tips on making inside car quieter
Good luck with that. These cars are not known for their quiet interiors to start with. You can soundproof some but be prepared for a major project.

No reason to buy Dynamat when you can get the exact same thing, minus the name brand, for a quarter the price at your local hardware store. How quiet you can make your car purely depends on how much work you're willing to put into it. Sound deadening material under the carpet and roof line is easy. Deadening foam in the door panels is a little harder, but gets you one step closer. Rubber o rings under every nut and bolt is the next step, and is a bit time intensive. Removing the engine to sound deaden the bay is the final step, with the most effort, and the greatest reward.
thanks, i plan on doing a lil at a time eventually getting all done. its a 93 hatch so it must be done....its a daily driven, still in charlottesville? in staunton myself
Exactly why not visit a muffler shop and see what they have available to quiet down the exhaust and make it more bearable.

Fill your quarter panels with polyfill and use dynamat or second skin deatner. There is a huge difference between peel n seal and dynamat. Dynamat the floor you will notice a huge difference.

Do I just buy some at Home Depot?
Great tips! I had an "Ah-HA!" Moment when you mentioned the rubber O-rings under every bolt. Ever since I retrofitted GSR leathers into my Civic its created this annoying squeak. I've checked all the bolts and its snug and tight, but the rubber O-rings should do the trick.

You might be hearing that squeek and think its the seat mount bolts when it very well could be the seat back.
I have had some RSX seats make an annoying squeek and it turned out to be the back was a little loose.
