Rubbing With New Rotor/Pads
89 Civic Dx sedan w/ stock hub
New ss brake line
New rotor and pads
Rebuilt calipers
Pins Greased up
Installed everything bled the brakes. Took it for a test drive when i start moving
i can hear excessive rubbing. Like the pads are rubbing on the rotors.
Stopped jacked up the car spin the front wheels and it spins freely
BUT!!!!!! When im spinning the wheels i can hear the rubbing it makes the rubbing noise only at this certain spot. Like the rotors are warped or something.
These rotors are even new and pads also.
Am i suppose to break down for these brakes? or these parts are warped?
Any help appreciated

Both sides or just one? Could be warped rotor or even the dust shield could have been bent a little. I had a bent shield that made noise. I just removed it.
Did you buy cheapo rotors?
Did you clean the brake surface of the rotor off before install?
Pads on disc brakes ride on the surface of the rotor always - unlike drums that have springs to pull the shoes away from the drum.
Hearing a little friction is expected.... very very little.
Excessive noise at specific degrees of rotation is probably a rotor issue.
If the manufacture quality of the rotor is bad then it could be acting like a warped rotor.
If you didn't clean the rust protective film off the rotor before driving, it can be creating a hot spot on your rotor leading to warping.

Check to see if the screws that held the original rotors in place, broke off. And if its sticking up any just make sure it is aligned with the hole it supposed to go into through the rotor
