Default Pretty sure it's my TCT

2004 56K miles. Engine makes noise when I blip the throttle, come and goes. Looked at a bunch of video's and I'm pretty sure its my TCT. You guys mind taking a look and telling me what ya think ?

tct. i replaced mine and it hasnt came back and i think its been over 30k miles since i replaced it. if it comes back ill just sandblast the old one.

i think i must have some kinda of freak AP1...ive never had any of the typical issues that almost all AP1's have except for the clicking axles because of the axle nut...over 100k miles and not a single sound from my TCT and im still on the stock clutch

I bet your lack of issues has to do with the fact that you never used Mobil1 synthetic. It's not proven but I've read that both the oil consumption issue and TCT issue are caused by the use of Mobil1... not always the case but most of the time.

i actually did use mobil 1 for about the first year and a half i had the car...switched that **** out though...the amount of burn off was unacceptable to me

Seeing how you already fixed it, this advice isn't going to help lol.

I bought a Ballade Motorsports Heavy Duty TCT when my OEM one started clattering. Hopefully it lasts longer than the OEM honda one.
