hey guys and girls! My brothers 06 honda civic lx climate control doesnt even light up when we switch the lights on. we checked fuses for radio and lights but none were blown.

what else are we to check?

 

Pull the heater control panel. Disconnect the connector. Measure voltage with key on lights on @ pin 12 (red). If there is 12v, replace the heater (climate control) panel (unit). All component illumination bulbs are protected thru fuse 14 in the under dash fuse box/micu. Since everything else lights up, you can conclude the circuit and the underdash micu/fuse box is ok. Thats pretty much it, the circuit is simple. Looks like you will need a new heater control panel.
