Default V-Tec brothers.. I need small help!

Hey guys... dad bought me an 1999 Integra LS Coupe.. Was super nice of him but there's just one goddamn problem. It's Automatic. I've asked him at least 20x to trade it in or trade for some type of Honda or just another Integra but stick shift, but he won't budge.

I don't know what I should do.. I just started a new job so I can continue to work and buy another car, (which isn't wrong) however there has to be something that I can do with this car... It's only got 116k miles and interior is flawless.

Should I still get parts for it... convert to stick (heard it costs a ton)... or what?

Please help and thanks alot... hopefully I don't get flamed. :/

A manual conversion would cost a little bit and you would need the mechanical knowledge or have someone with the knowledge help you. Otherwise that's even more money to think about.

I personally have my daily driving car to drive to work and around in and my project car to mess around in and have fun with. If I were you I would keep it automatic and keep it to daily around with and when you're able to throw money at something get a car that you like and do something with.

Ditto the above, ^^^ leave it alown, keep it as a daily, save all your pennies for a new car, keep this one stock and in good shape so when it is time to trade you will get more for an unmodded car then you will if you mod, [convert to 5 speed] this one, you will never get any money you put into it back.

If you can afford it, keep it as a winter car, then you do not have to worry about your driving your slammed summer car in the winter.

I have a 94 Integra RS, all modded up for autocross, I used to drive it in the winter, not anymore, I picked up an old 89 Chry Dynasty, [automatic] that I now use in the winter and tuck the teg away for the winter

No winterizing the teg, [raising it, winter tires and so on]. 94
