Honda Civic Coupe 2002 - no high beam
Hi guys, i have a problem with my Honda, the high beams don t work, i checked this forum but i couldn t find nothing about this issue.
The switch light is good, fuses are good, the bulb lights the same. Inside the blue light is not working. I read about a relay, but i don t know where is that.
Can someone help me with this?
Thank you!

Did you replace the light bulbs? They're dual element (high/low) so one can still work if the other is burnt out (usually the low beams go out first). This is probably the easiest and cheapest item to check first.... Other than that, I'd go with a new combination switch (or do a thorough test of it) Good luck

1. Do you have day lights?
2. When you're on your night lights and you switch over to your high beams, does it just turn off your night light?
If you answered yes to both of these questions, most likely a "module" or "modulator" is broken or has been taken out. When I bought my 2001 EL, that happened to me and I called the guy I bought the car off and he said he took out the "module", situated somewhere under your steering wheel. He said it was making noise and that bugged him.
If i'm wrong, someone please correct me.

As per 2001EL's comment vehicles equipped with daytime running lights do have problems such as this when the relay fails. The poster is hiding their origin so hard to say which market they are in, I believe the US market Civic's had some sort of recall for headlight electrical issues.

has someone an wiring diagram?
i think it s something wrong with (-) ground, if i put the (-) direct from the battery the high beam is working, but still no blue light inside...

The high beams and the high beam indicator light (in the instrument cluster) are all ground controlled on the same red/blue wire through the combo switch. I bet there's a break in that red/blue wire between were it comes together and the combo switch. In a logical world they would come together in the dash to include the indicator light.
Otherwise, I think the switch is bad- check it again.
Or, do you have an aftermarket alarm? That may be screwing with it.
