Default Serious Cluth Issue.

Well my car just rolled over 130,000 miles but this problem has been going on for the past close to 2 months.

When I start the car up its fine and goes into every gear flawlessly, then once i start putting on some heavier miles. The issue occurs where getting it into gear is much more difficult/rough. after that a couple more miles later it gets worse and when i go to downshift or upshift it is almost as if im hitting a lockout thats preventing me from going into that gear, so if i put it into neutral and wiggle it around, and pump the clutch sometimes it helps but i still have to jam it into the gear.

Ivfnoticed that if i park, turn it off and put it into gear that works as well but only sometimes. also there is some noticeable grinding here and there even if my foot is all the way down on the clutch.

at first I thought there was air in my clutch lines and thats not it.

now im thinking its my throw out bearing because at idle with my foot off I can hear it huming and now its even a squeeling.. and its popped out of gear on me only once due to this issue. but would a throw out bearing make sense?

And if your clutch dosent slip its not the clutch maybe the master cylinder or slave cylinder look it first a clutch job if you dont do it yourself colst alot.

ok thanks ill look into more this coming weekend. My car does not drip a single thing. so my first question is how do i tell if a master or slave cylinder have gone bad? also.... from this problem happening i can almost guarantee its put some serious wear and tear on my clutch.

I had the exact same problems your explaining to my car. Tuesday morning on my way to work, boom, my car dies. I try putting it into gear and i cant put it in. I tired reverse and when I did the car moved forward. From what i read if you cant put your car into gear easily with the car off, its going to be the transmission that is screwed up.

yea i can feel it through the shifter that something is not right.. im thinking of taking it in to a shop just to see if they can point me in a more clear direction...

all fluids are fine and good no leaks nothing that i can see.

not super sure where else to look before it goes in.
