Default p1072 system too rich bank 1 YES I DID SEARCH

I have a 2000 Civic si, all original B16a2 motor trans 160k
My 1999 runs better then this 2000 Si.
p1072
system too rich bank 1
spark plug replaced
ignition coil replaced
rotor button replaced
oxygen sensor bank 1 replaced
tested the injectors ... they're fine

the car runs like a diesel truck... im devastated...

could this be the catalytic converter? or timing issue?
I said converter since the car smells like SSSht when its on and timing since the previous
owner took it to a shop, maybe they did not do it properly.

I say either cat or exhaust leak. Check the manifold gaskets or for cracks

exhaust from header to tail pipe has no leak... i felt the car way slower than the 99 SI...

How did you test the injectors? Have you done a fuel system pressure test yet?

^ This.

Check the fuel pressure via the access port on the filter, that'll pretty much give you what the rail pressure is. Make sure you use sealant tape or something.

I doubt it's the cat and I doubt even more-so that it's the timing.

I'd say the next step is to
A) Make sure you have adequate pressure at the rail
B) Make sure the injectors are operational

(I'm thinking B is your issue, since you said it's weak and it sounds like ****).

"Runs like a deisel"

You sure your not missing a hole?
That would net you unspent fuel and possibly that code, And in time will surely ruin the cat if continually drivin like so.
Or a gnarkill exhaust leak before H02S1

If the engine is running rough check for compression at all 4 holes.

Yeah, check the pressure.

Then do a leakdown and/or compression test to verify that the cylinders are sealing.

Then make sure you have power to each injector.

Also might want to verify that the spark plugs, cap, and wires are good. You can do a 'ghetto check' of the wires/cap by hooking a timing light up to them.
