If I press the gass peddle down it bogs, floor it and it starts poping back through the intake. I have cahnged all the usual suspects, full tune with fuel filter. The fuel pressure looks good as does the timing, injectors, and distributor. Any ideas Guys????

 

Oh yea, no check engine light...

 

So all of this "just" started one day out of the blue.....or is there more to this?

 

It happened after I replaced the intake manifold gaskets chasing a idle surge. Solved the issue with the surge and this one popped up.

 

Be sure you didn't switch the connectors on the tps and map sensors......what are the colors of the wires (3) going to the tps?

 

When you changed to Intake Manifold gaskets, do you think possibly you might have gotten something into the fuel rail or one or more of the injectors?

So u did a intake manifold job n it jumped 2 tooth? I learn something new everyday

 

Yeah thats scary. i would like to know how it jumped two teeth.. i would be replacing that belt and idler pulley really fast if that happened to me.
