you can install a ls 89mm crank into a b18c1 no problem,, not custom, you just need to use ls length rods as well

c1 an c5 block are the same thing, only the internals differ

You can swap in ls rods and crank to increase displacement

can also swap in b16 crank and b16b rods to lower displacement

i seen some b18b1 crankshaft n rods .. figured i would get those .. so there is no difference in the b18b and the b20 crank n rods ?? just want to make sure .. i know the b20 pistons would up my compression tho .. but im assuming i shouldnt take the b18b pistons ..

yes b20 crank and rods are the same as b18b.

you can't put b20 pistons in anyway. (unless you're sleeved, which at that point you wouldn't be asking this question).

What makes the b20 a 2.0 liter is the 84mm pistons vs the b18/b16 81mm

i must say coming from a nissan to a honda .. honda's are like lego blocks .. so many pieces can fit to all diff platforms ..
when i had my se-r if you wernt gonna go boost its expense and difficult to get various parts and choices to get a good n/a build ..
well in jamaica at least .. not sure what the n/a parts price and supply is like in the states ..

thanks again for the info .. gonna be getting a b20 crank next week as i sourced one out here .. get the pistons a little while later .. jus wish i had some itr pistons now

I personally would get some p30 pistons or at least pr3's over itr. Higher the compression will be best for n/a

if your doin a N/A build and you want a little more compression

use p30 b16 pistons, with the 89mm crank and the c1 block youll be at like 11.2:1 compression ratio prob a little bit higher

p30's will be your best bet for compression, even more then itr pistons,,, stay away from ctr pistons, hi comp but there dome is to big,,, your cam choice's will be severely limited

I figured the itr because of the oil holes .. the p30 doesnt have that and would mean that i would have to clay the engine right ??

after checking www.zealautowerks.com with the set up with the itr (jdm p73) pistons i would be getting jus about 11.8 compression which might actually go up to 12 being ive never skimmed the head or anything like that ..

plus the gas in jamaica is **** .. e-90 octane is the best we get at the pumps .. dont want to be running 12.5 or anything on that crap for a daily driver .. so the ctr pistons are fully a NO NO.. dome too big is right ..

In my opinion p73's would definitely be the best route. i ran those in my c1 block for a little while. It was around 11.0:1. Definitely the best choice if you're going N/A.

not sure what FTFY means but im assuming it in agreement about the p73 and my shitty options in gas ..

off topic but as u say shitty gas .. was at the dyno where a subaru wagon was making 480whp on e-90 .. they dropped in the race fuel and that bitch made 620whp very next run
