help i think i just f up !! cam and crank
i was changing my timing belt and as i was about to grab the timing belt to put it on the cam gears i rested my right hand on one of the cam and i turn it by accident. it turn clock ways. so then instead of me rotating it back c.clock ways i kept turning it clock ways.
i try to put it on top dead center but it just wont line up with the other one. so i my dumb self didnt think about it and i turn it clock ways hopefully it will match the other side on tdc. did this as the tranny was in gear.
after i did that i just remember that maybe i shouldnt have done that. i prob just f up big time. but was hoping maybe i didnt damange any thing so i came on here and hopefully you guys can help me out a little bit.
or should i just rebuild the motor now thanks.

What? Loosen the tappets, align the gears, install the belt, and adjust the tappets. The valve springs will still contact the cam and it will want to rotate to certain position because of that. You should be fine.
Pretty hard to do any damage when cranking by hand, I agree with the above, start over, do it correctly this time and you should be fine. 94
We call it clockwise on planet Earth.
Do a leakdown test on each cylinder to see if the valves are leaking excessively. Worst-case, you'll have to replace some valves.

Should be fine, Make sure your set at 16 degrees BTDC (B18B). Also the OEM cam gears have arrows on them that say up make sure they are both pointing up and you'll be good to go.
