Default AEM Series 2 + Stock Knock Sensor

Can the AEM Series 2 read the stock knock (broadband, 1-wire) sensor?

...or does it need an after market knock box which feeds in the 0-5v analogue

Depends on which Series 2 you have...If you have say a 6040 OBDI box that is generally used on B series motors, the knock sensor is already pre-programed and all you would need to do is turn on knock control and go form there.

Look into setting it up with a Bosch broadband sensor. They are stock on a lot of european cars and are a great sensor.

I was confused when you referred to the stock "broadband" sensor, because they definitely are not.
