Distribution block question
Hi so I'm an electrical noob and need a little help understanding distribution blocks.
I'm going to relocate my battery to the trunk and run a 0 guage power cable to the distribution block mounted on the firewall. My question is this- Say the block has two 0 gauge inputs and a bunch of 4 gauge outputs and i want to run 0 gauge all the way to my starter can i run 0 gauge out of the second distribution block input to the starter and use the 4 gauge outputs for the rest of my accessories/fuse box? Will the second "input" allow power to reach the starter?
I don't really understand the difference between an input port and an output port. Is the output port fused and the input not?

basically a distribution block is just a big peice of metal that spreads the connections out so u can hook the power wire to that to get power instead of going straight to the battery with lots of multiple wires, if u look at where the original battery wire was, trace it down and most likely it's split to the starter and/or the fuse box, and from the fuse box it splits all the other electrical components
